In the Dominican Republic it is made by hand, the Villiger 1492 Robusto. It belongs to the format of Robustos and offers for about an hour the finest smoke. Aromatic notes appear on the palate.
The 1492 Robusto tobaccos are from different countries and dedicated this series to Christopher Columbus. That is why, in 1492, the year Columbus discovered America. The wrapper is a tobacco from Indonesia, the binder comes from Ecuador and the filler is from the manufacturing country, the Dominican Republic.
